This retreat is open to everyone. However, if you have trouble running or hiking a few miles, it would be better to skip this one. We will be out in nature most of the day. Erwan will be taking you to some of his favorite locations in New Mexico. This area is incredible for its diversity and astonishing levels of energy that you can feel. Erwan will emphasize basic yet challenging, mindful movements, particularly ground movement and get-ups with amazing benefits for overall mobility and stability. On top of the movement side, Erwan will extend his coaching to the lifestyle aspects of Natural Movement, sharing many insights about the art of high energy life. Don’t miss this special retreat with a world-renowned movement teacher!

About Erwan:

Erwan is the founder of world-renowned Natural Movement system MovNat, a fast-growing movement and fitness program. His work has been extensively covered by prominent media outlets including feature-length articles in Outside Mag, Men’s Health, and many others. Erwan has trained Navy Seals Special Forces and is currently training top-ranking MMA fighter and current UFC belt challenger Carlos Condit. He is also one of the main characters in New-York-Times best-seller author Christopher McDougall’s latest book “Natural Born Heroes.”

What: Movement principles, including breathing. Ground movements.
AFTERNOON
Where: Big Tesuque (where the “Balance” video was shot)
What: ground movements, balancing, climbing.

Where: Tesuque (Erwan’s yard)
What: ground movements, log lifting and carrying techniques
AFTERNOON
Where: Diablo Canyon (where the “Fly” video was shot)
What: ground movement, throwing and catching techniques, fundamental jumping techniques.

Where: Abiquiu Plazza Blanca
What: ground movement, running techniques
AFTERNOON
Where: Abiquiu Lake (where the “Gravity” video was shot)
What: Final cooperative Natural Movement course and jumping in the lake!
Evening (optional): Ojo Caliente natural hot springs followed by dinner.
