Did you practice the hanging foot pinch from last week?
Good :] Then you’ve probably already done a version of the movement we are going to break down and refine today: the Depth Jump (you had to land on your feet after climbing, right?). But, did you land skillfully?
Jumping has a very “youthful” stigma attached to it. But being airborne and absorbing impact isn’t just child’s play. In fact, the ability to absorb impact (no matter how big or small) effectively and efficiently is one of the most important skills of life. And that’s why the depth jump is the perfect place to start improving.
No matter your age, practice the level appropriate progressions found in this video, have tons of fun, and reap the rewards for years to come.
Enjoy, practice, and share the knowledge (remember: sharing is caring; hoarding is boring!).
