Proud to model for the 'Resistance' t-shirt
I am a huge supporter of Survival International, the movement for tribal peoples. As Christmas is getting closer, I would like to draw your attention to their online store, the Survival International’s shop.
Their holiday cards feature stunning, wintry images of tribal peoples and wildlife – the perfect way to send a message to family and friends over the coming holidays.
They also have two t-shirt designs available. World-renowned English sculptor, photographer and painter Richard Long has created an exclusive design for Survival that reflects his love of natural landscapes. Their ‘Resistance’ t-shirt celebrates the Dongria Kondh tribe’s extraordinary victory over one of the world’s biggest mining companies.
This collection of unique gifts and cards exists solely to help Survival’s urgent work – defending the rights of threatened tribal peoples all over the world.

There’s something I greatly admire about Movnat…and that is its emphasized connection with nature and, by association, with nature’s people, i.e., this beautiful planet’s indigenous/tribal peoples.
Although I work in a field seemingly far removed from it, my formal education is in anthropology. I sense that the pull toward that kind of education was, more than anything else, an early recognition of wanting to explore what I intuited is humanity’s lost, but true, nature.
